For the Kids K (1 Mile), the course is on a paved, well-marked path.  The shirts, baton, and medal were great last year.  My kids absolutely love getting a stuffed animal at the end of the race.  Location has a park which is awesome! I have also participated in the relay.  The course is on a paved path and roadways.  It is a good course with a steep, short hill that you run up and then down. Fine post-race food. Results didn't take very long and the awards ceremony is casual but nice. 2. Ran the utah marathon relay on Sept 11, 2010 as part of an office team.  It was a perfect day for a race with chilly temps early and moderate temps later in the morning with a gentle breeze to keep all cool during the run.  The event was well organized with nice metal finishers medals for all and many prizes for the random drawing.  They also has a live band on hand to keep the participants entertained when they were waiting for their teammates to finish.  All in all, a great event. 3. This race was really well organized. The Kids K race was a riot.  As soon as the horn blew all the kids took off!  It was a sight to see.  The course for the relay was great.  There were some hills that were challenging and a great paved course.  It was a great idea to have massages available for before and after the race. The finisher's medals were a nice touch.  Even the kids got them. 4. This my second year running the race and once again it was awesome! I applaud the organizers for doing such a great job- these are the most well organized races I've ran! 5. I'm usually a 5K runner, so this was a little longer than I'm used to. The varied and scenic course made it fun and made the extra distance doable. 6. It was a FANTASTIC event for the kids.  My little 5 year old got to run his first 1 mile race!!  It was a great experience for him and I wouldn't have changed anything!  He loved the fact that he got a finisher's medal and a stuffed animal!  We LOVED how you had all the post race activities for the kids also.
